Wall of Honor poitrait #6

This image represents 24 years of Military Service to the greatest country in the world. "The USA" This is my Wall of Honor I created in my Man Cave and am very proud of it. I took an image of the wall and enhanced it with other images in photoshop.

Camo # 5

I really don't know what to call this, but I tried to get a special effect kinda look. I potographed an image of myself in sunlight, then I facepainted myself and took that image and superimposed it on the original image.

Sin City Self Poitrait #4

I was watching a movie called "Sin City" the other night and saw this special effect in the movie and wanted to recreate it as a sel poitrait. I wasn't sure how to go about doing it, but after several attempts figured it out. I used monochrome setting with black and white. Speed is 1/60, f stop is f4.5 and ISO is 800. I was wearing dark clothes and a black head cover. I went to the darkest are in my downstairs area to snap the image, but  the glasses didn't give me the results I wanted. So I cut out pieces of white paper and taped it to my glasses and shazzam it worked. It looks kinda eerie, but I created the special effect I was trying to do.

Stitching Self potrait 3

Can you picture me doing this as a hobby? Sitting there hour after hour sticking a needle in a satin fabric, creating an intricate design that looks so unique and beautiful. Well, I think I would end up pulling the rest of the little hair I have left on my head out. Not my idea of a fun hobby. That's why I would rather be taking photos. I can move around, take several photos, edit them on photoshop and spend hours designing and creating my own vision of art. The lighting used in this image is sunlight, it brings out the natural colors of the threads and makes it easier to see how the designs are developing.
